The grapes were farmed from a reputable single vineyard in Rutherford, Napa Valley. I cold soaked the berries before fermentation to fully extract the flavors. As a result, there is a rich and pleasant dark fruit and pepper aroma, with a noticeable impact of new French oak.

Overall, this is ripe, bold-fruited Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, with a polished tannin representing the signature “Rutherford Dust”. The flavor made a perfect pair with the fine tannin to create an elegant complexity.
